Tim Dare is a leader and technical director for ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s Joint Combatant Command (JCC) business. Responsible for technical strategy, he works across the firm’s Global Defense business to assist in the design and execution of highly classified programs, primarily focused on the Indo-Pacific Command’s Area of Responsibility (INDOPACOM AOR). Results-oriented, Tim relies on his mission-focused leadership that combines program management and engineering management skills to deliver true value to the firm’s partners.
Tim has more than 40 years of aerospace experience, having served in the Senior Executive Service as the deputy director for prototyping and software in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. He also served the Secretary of Defense as principal advisor for software resilient systems and ran prototyping programs for the Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations and the Rapid Reaction Technology Office. Before his government service, Tim worked for Lockheed Martin Space, focused on Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile programs. He managed the development of new capabilities for Lockheed, including the Hubble telescope, Space Fence, and missile warning systems.
Tim holds a B.S. in computer science from Purdue University and a master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University. He is also a certified project management professional.
