Tom Whitmeyer is a leader in ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s global defense business. He develops mission-oriented space solutions to further the nation’s space domain authority and scale the future of space technology.
Tom and his teams use open-architecture data platforms, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and data analytics, among other capabilities to help solve the space-related challenges that our military, civil, and commercial clients face.
With more than 35 years of aerospace experience, Tom spent the past 22 years of his career at NASA. Most recently, he was the deputy associate administrator for NASA’s Exploration System Development program where he led the historic Artemis I lunar mission. In earlier roles at NASA, he was a deputy for the Space Shuttle Program and the Office of Safety and Mission Assurance.
Tom has been honored with several awards for his NASA leadership, including the NASA Exceptional Service Award and the NASA Space Operations Distinguished Service Award.
He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Boston University and an M.S. in aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical/space engineering from George Washington University.Â
