Kate Mercer leads the next-generation data solutions practice for ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½'s global defense and aerospace accounts, as well as leading our Dayton, Ohio, office. She has more than 25 years of experience in IT system modernization, enterprise data management, Agile development, system implementation, business process reengineering, and strategic planning.
In March 2019, Kate orchestrated an agreement with the State of Ohio through the JobsOhio program for ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½ in selecting Dayton as our next site for a digital hub. This initiative brings together the firm’s DevSecOps capabilities, modern software development practices, and data management expertise to support Air Force objectives at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and beyond.Â
Kate was a founding board member for the Greater Ohio Valley Women in Defense Chapter, newly formed in 2013 with more than 250 members. She currently serves the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association Wright Chapter Board.Â
Prior to joining ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½, Kate provided financial system analytics and working capital fund rate build consulting services for KPMG’s Air Force clients. She holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and English from Denison University and is a certified project management professional.Â
