Matt Calderone is the chief financial officer of ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½ Hamilton. He is responsible for the firm’s financial statements, capital structure and deployment, investor relations, and M&A and related transactions.
Matt has held a variety of leadership roles in finance and strategy at ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½. Before becoming CFO, Matt was the firm’s chief strategy officer, during which time he led M&A activity, long-term financial strategy, and the development and rollout of VoLT, ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s current growth strategy. From 2016 to 2020, he led the firm’s strategic finance and forecasting, planning, and analysis (FP&A) functions. Matt built and led ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s corporate development team, which, under his leadership, has executed more than $1.5 billion in M&A transactions and numerous equity investments, divestitures, and joint ventures. He was instrumental in designing and executing ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s Vision 2020 growth strategy, including leading the firm’s restructuring in 2013.
Prior to joining corporate, Matt led a 500-person team that spanned clients across the intelligence community. Earlier in his career, he worked for ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½â€™s global commercial business, where he focused on large-scale transformation, and for the Boston Consulting Group.
Matt holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. He took a year-long hiatus from college to do community service in Washington, DC. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Washington Capitals, cooking, and spending quality time with his family.
