Dr. Charles Baschnagel develops and implements innovative advanced analytic solutions for military readiness, higher education, and population health. As an economist and mathematician, he brings extensive training and experience in economic modeling, data analysis, machine learning algorithms, and econometric methods.
Charles leads interdisciplinary project teams as we expand our advanced analytics capabilities—including the Readiness Prediction model and EpiMaps analytics platform—in the Health business. Charles has supported a broad range of clients with his analytic solutions, including the Department of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Office of the Surgeon General, and the U.S. Air Force.
Prior to joining ÎÞÓÇ´«Ã½, Charles was a senior economist at Econometrica, Inc., where he managed homeland security projects focusing on border security issues. He also was a senior research analyst at the Brookings Institution.
Charles is a board member of the National Economists Club. He earned a Ph.D. and an M.A. in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He holds two B.A. degrees in economics and mathematics, with honors, from Williams College.
